Mystic Renegades is a fast-paced third-person PvP ability shooter in Unreal Engine 5, featuring a completely original Loadout System—neither class-based nor hero-based. Players have total freedom to combine any set of abilities, enabling a deeply strategic and flexible playstyle. Set across global environments with multiple competitive modes, the game emphasizes adaptability, creativity, and player-driven tactics. Built entirely in UE5, the project highlights the engine’s strengths in modular systems, multiplayer networking, and cinematic visual fidelity.

Players compete in objective-based PvP battles across stylized global environments, using their chosen two abilities and weapons in dynamic, fast-paced skirmishes. The core gameplay blends fluid movement, precise gunplay, and unique ability synergies to create a highly replay able and skill-driven experience.
At the heart of the world is a mysterious ancient gem, scattered in pockets around the planet, slowly eroding into reality. Only one enigmatic organization knows of its existence. These gems allow humans to harness the power of matter and energy, enabling them to materialize any non-living object at will, limited only by their personal strength and intent.
When a human bonds with a gem fragment, it manifests a form unique to their identity—this is known as the “CastID.” The CastID appears in the player’s hand when preparing to use an ability, transforming based on the user's inner essence and allowing full control over powerful abilities.
Conflict arises when one of the organization's most powerful leaders begins to question the group's secrecy. He believes the gem’s power should be shared to create a global utopia. The remaining leaders insist that humanity would only seek to dominate, not unify. This ideological divide results in a splinter faction—the Renegades—formed by the dissenter to take the battle public and challenge the organization's grip on power.
